On Saturday the 15th of May 2010, Millbrook Primary School won the cup for the first time when they beat Greenmeadow Primary School 2-1 in the Swindon Primary Schools FA Shield Cup Final.
It was an action-packed and close game, where both teams did their schools proud.
Amazing skilful goals by Kieran Bone and Harri Burdock won it for Millbrook.
Paul Bodin, Swindon Town Youth Team Manager and ex-Swindon Town Player, and his son Billy Bodin came to Millbrook to present the shield to Jack Gibson, Millbrook’s captain. They also handed commemorative certificates to all Millbrook players.
