WILTSHIRE Police have confirmed that a 26 year old man from Reading has been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault on a teenager in Swindon town centre.
The man was arrested on Tuesday, interviewed at Gablecross Police Station, and released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
The incident took place between 2.30am and 3.30am on Friday, July 16, when a 19 year old Swindon woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault in the vicinity of Carr Street and Queen Street.
