Sculptor wants youto FeAl the difference

SCULPTOR Toby Robson, who specialises in metal casting in aluminium and iron, has an exhibition of his work on show all through February.

Toby, from Old Town has an exhibition entitled FeAl at The Post Modern Gallery, Theatre Square, from February 1 to February 18.

Toby said: “The exhibition itself is a follow on to some work I exhibited at Belgravia Lettings last year.

“Some of it reflects my experiences over a very difficult couple of years, other pieces reflect my interest in organic forms and throughout I have played with different casting techniques to create a range of effects and finishes.

“The name FeAl is a pun on the process of creation and the chemical symbols for my two favourite mediums.’’ The sculptor is going to have a busy summer as he has been given the chance to cast and install a large scale iron sculpture at the Sculpture Trails outdoor museum in Solsbury, in Indiana in the USA.

Toby has a small workshop and foundry near Devizes. For more details visit www.blackandwhite casting .co.uk.
