Firms flocking to first Business Show Swindon

HUNDREDS of businesses are expected to head to Steam today for the Business Show Swindon.

The show, organised by GWE Business West and sponsored by Lloyds TSB Commercial, is free to attend, and will feature 80 exhibitors from across the region. More than 500 business have registered to attend the show which will run from 9am until 4pm.

Mark French, the area director for Lloyds TSB Commercial in Gloucester and Oxford, said: “We are proud to sponsor the inaugural Business Show in Swindon.

“The show will be a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to hear from experts in the field and network and share best practice examples.

“At Lloyds TSB Commercial, we are committed to providing the right support, guidance and knowledge for SMEs to help them achieve their business goals.”

The show will feature free speed networking sessions and seminars covering topics such as social media, networking, marketing, intellectual property and funding for growth.

Nicky Alberry, the GWE Business West chairman, said: “There has been a gap without a business show in Swindon for several years.”

People can turn up on the day even if they have not registered in advance.
