A head start in business for Sue

A HAIR-RAISING business venture is being launched in Blunsdon St Andrew.

Hair Aloud opens for business today and will be offering a specialist home service catering for both hairpieces and a variety of hair extensions.

Yet the new business was first conceived from a subject very much closer to home according to business owner Sue Davies.

She explained: "I recently lost a loved one, and we couldn't find a wig for them for neither love nor money.

"That's why I decided to go ahead with the idea, to give people that service if they need it."

Hair Aloud offers a mix of services, including personal home visits for suffers of cancer, leukaemia, alopecia and other ailments, which cause loss of hair.

But Sue's range of services doesn't stop there.

She also offers party plans for school proms and other events, where anyone from young girls to older women can choose hair extensions or hairpieces from an extensive selection that caters for every taste or preference.

"I'm also going to be doing demonstrations at women's meetings across the area, such as Wootten Bassett, Swindon and the surrounding areas," said Sue, a mum of two.

A new website for Hair Aloud should be up and running this week at www.hairaloud.co.uk For more information and appointments, you can contact Sue on 07738 551414.
