POLICE have confirmed they have found two bodies - one of which they believe to be Sian O'Callaghan.
A 47-year-old Swindon man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and two murders.
Detective Superintendent Steve Fulcher and Chief Superintendent Steve Hedley confirmed the news at a press conference held moments ago at Gablecross Police Station.
They said they are confident that one of the bodies is that of Sian.
They added that more information would be announced in the coming hours.
Det Sup Fulcher thanked the people of Swindon for their help in this investigation and said the family have asked for privacy.
The news comes five days after 22-year-old Sian went missing after a night out with friends at Suju, in Old Town.
Her disappearance sparked a massive search operation which saw hundreds of local people helping police comb Savernake Forest - the last point her mobile phone picked up a signal.
