POLICE have been told the location of the second body and are combing the area.

Detective Superintendent Steve Fulcher, who has been leading the case, told members of the media that he had been taken to two locations yesterday - Uffington and Northleach, in Gloucestershire.

"In connection with the second location, examination happened through night," he said.

"It's a very painstaking and slow process to ascertain whether there is a second body."

He said that they believed the body related to an incident from a number of years ago and it was an adult.

"I understand everyone concerns in connection with second body.

"If there is one we believe relates to some years ago and adult. Wiltshire only have one outstanding missing adult."

Sian's body, which was found near Uffington, has now been recovered and a post-mortem examination is taking place this morning.
