THE man charged with the murder of 22-year-old Sian O'Callaghan has appeared in Bristol Crown Court this morning.
The hearing, which only lasted around six minutes, took place shortly after 11am.
Halliwell, dressed in a grey suit with a white shirt and blue tie, spoke only to confirm his name.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the same court on April 8 via video link.
A small group of people had gathered outside the court but the public gallery inside the court room was closed.
