STUDENTS have been celebrating each other’s backgrounds, culture and beliefs this week as part of New College’s annual Diversity Week.
There have been musical performances, food tasting, talks raising awareness of disability and health, and introductions to different cultures, including Nepalese and Tamil.
New College equal opportunities adviser Trudy Murphy said: “Once again we have fabulous contributions from visitors from our community, with a number of faith groups talking to students.
“The participation of our students with the visitors has been great, and it is a great week to celebrate the diversity of both our students and staff.”
