THE phone has been ringing off the hook at one Swindon venue since it was announce rockers Thin Lizzy were coming to town.
The iconic band will be taking to the stage at M.E.C.A, in Regent Circus, on June 2 for their only headline gig this summer.
Featuring original Thin Lizzy Members Scott Gorham, Brian Downey and Darren Wharton, and special guests bassist Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Ted Nugent) and The Almighty’s Ricky Warwick on vocals and guitar, the band are set to go down a storm.
M.E.C.A spokesman Steve Causer said: “This is a fantastic event for us and we are really excited about getting such a high profile band play at our venue.
Tickets cost £26 and are available online at www.ticketline.com or from the Swindon Information Centre. Doors open at 6.30pm.
