TICKETS are selling fast for next month’s Swindon Charity Ball which has a French theme.

The Moulin Rouge ball will feature dancing from the London-based dance act Sophistication.

Spokeswoman Galina Ananin said: “The Can Can girls who work with top London choreographer Yvonne Dearman capture the true spirit of the Moulin Rouge and will provide a colourful spectacle to establish the atmosphere of a Parisian night.

“Having worked with Robbie Williams on a pop video, and most recently with the legendary Barbara Windsor, you can see their versatility.”

The major fund-raiser takes place at the Marriott Hotel on Saturday, May 14 and organisers from the Rotary Club of Swindon report that tables are selling well.

The five-course gala dinner will include a champagne reception and an exciting draw including the Deacon’s diamond draw, plus a number of holidays as raffle prizes.

Founded in 1989, the Swindon Charity Ball is firmly established as an important event in the town’s social calendar, and which has raised more than £600,000 for local charities.
