PUPILS from two Swindon schools shut by a gas leak have returned to lessons.
Children at Oliver Tomkins Infant and Junior Schools in Toothill were evacuated to the Link Centre on Monday morning when junior school head Elizabeth Wood smelt gas.
Engineers from the gas company, Wales and West Utilities, and the Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called.
Infant school head Rhian Cockwell said today: "Both schools are open as normal again, and lessons are taking place."
