STAFF at Bonmarche are reassuring customers that the town centre store’s future is safe.
The chain has been bought by Sun European Partners but the Swindon branch is one of 230 across the country that will remain open. It employs 16 members of staff.
Caroline Ballinger, store manager, said: “Staff are thrilled with the news that we are remaining open.
“We would like to extend a special thanks to all of our customers for their support and messages of encouragment over the last few weeks.”
Bonmarche is one of the UK’s largest womens’ only retailers focused on selling affordable, quality clothing in a range of sizes for women over 50.
Sun European Partners has significant retail experience with a portfolio of companies including the Irisa group, Jacques Vert, American Golf, SCS sofas and Lee Cooper.
