SWINDON children are invited to grab their capes and fly to the aid of this year’s Barnardo’s Big Toddle.
The annual sponsored walk for under fives has a super-hero theme and toddlers can dress up as their favourite character.
Last year’s event saw children from the town raising almost £1,700 towards a regional total of more than £50,000.
Parents, carers, playgroups and nurseries can create their own Big Toddle at any time throughout the year.
Funds go to help some of the UK’s most vulnerable children, including those with physical and learning difficulties.
Sara Cobbledick, Toddle co-ordinator for Barnardo’s South West, said: “We are now into our 15th annual Toddle and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever.
“Every penny raised goes directly to our work with under-5s – so everyone can enjoy themselves and help raise vital funds for less fortunate children.”
Registrants will receive a Big Toddle pack full of information and ideas including activity sheets, storybooks, posters and certificates.
This year the Big Toddle is sponsored by Big Dish, the UK’s fastest-growing kids’ fresh, healthy food company.
