Star chips in with golfing challenge for hospice

A 10k golf challenge issued by sportsman Steve Jordan to raise money for Prospect Hospice is being backed by Urban 18, the Swindon and Cirencester golf and lifestyle fashion stores.

Steve, an ardent supporter of the Wroughton-based hospice, has already raised thousands of pounds over the last year for the charity.

He now has set a date of April 19 for a golfing event at Carswell Golf and Country Club.

Teams of four – paying £195 for the team – will be able to participate in the 18 hole team challenge, plus beat the Urban 18/UKKO tour professional, longest drive, nearest the pin, Mulligans and Two’s Sweep, each costing £10 per team, with all fees donated to Prospect Hospice.

UKKO London, luxury British golf wear business, will present teams with a stylish baseball cap for the teams to wear on the day.

Bacon rolls and coffee will be served on arrival, and the cost includes a rolling evening meal. The exclusive prize table is being supplied by Urban 18 and will include prizes from brands J Lindeberg, Hugo Boss and Lyle and Scott.

Entry forms can be obtained by emailing dan@urban18. co.uk, downloading from Facebook or from the Urban 18 stores in Victoria Road.
