A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been robbed by three youths in Pinehurst.
The incident took place in Tovey Road, at approximately 5.30pm, on Monday(FEB13).
The victim was walking along a footpath that runs across Northern Road and parallel to Tovey Road in Pinehurst, when he was approached by three youths.
One of these youths threatened the man, while another searched his pockets. After they had obtained a small amount of cash, they left the scene.
Unfortunately there are few details about the suspects available at this time, other than the fact that they were all male and one was wearing a bright coloured hoodie and black leather Nike baseball gloves.
PC Gareth Snoad, of the Priority Crime Team in Swindon, said: “Robbery is a serious offence and the victim was understandably left very shaken by what happened to him.
“In order to progress my inquiry I am appealing for help from the public and would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen or heard someone acting suspiciously.
“You can be assured that any information we receive will be treated in the strictest of confidence.”
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact PC Snoad at Gablecross Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information may be left anonymously if preferred.
