HIP hop choreographer Banxy, in association with Swindon Dance, will be holding auditions to look for talented youngsters with urban dance skills to take part in a special Olympic event.

But you have to get your applications in today.

Battle For The Winds is a unique theatrical event to mark the opening celebrations of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic sailing events on Thursday, July 26.

Seven areas from the south west, including Swindon and Wiltshire, will tell their tale at home, before heading down to Weymouth and Portland to take part in a three-day outdoor performance.

Banxy will lead dancers through the Urban Circus, set to premiere at Swindon’s Big Arts Day on July 14, displaying the very best of Swindon past, present and future.

The event is open to anyone aged 14 to 25-years-old and auditions take place at 2pm on Saturday.
