Two bailed by police in murder probe
10:23pm Saturday 9th June 2012 in News By Scott D'Arcy
TWO teenagers arrested by police shortly after the murder of Charles Roger Millar have been bailed tonight.
The pair, both 18 years old, had been in custody since early on Wednesday morning following the stabbing in Barnum Court, Rodbourne at 1.30am and have now been bailed to a date in July pending further enquiries.
The 44-year-old victim, of East Street, in the town centre, later died of his injuries in hospital.
Two other men, aged 17 and 19, arrested in connection with the killing remain in custody at Melksham police station, where detectives continue to question them.
It comes after Swindon Magistrates' Court had granted murder police extensions to the custody time limits for the four suspects.
Detectives are still appealing for information and witnesses to come forward.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
