Murder detectives arrest fifth man

A FIFTH man has tonight been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Charles Roger Millar.
The 27-year-old was detained after a what police described as a pro-active operation at around 8.30pm at an undisclosed residential address in Corsham.
Earlier officers were granted an extension to the custody time for the two suspects remaining in custody.
Two men, aged 17 and 19, who were arrested on Thursday, remain in custody after Swindon Magistrates' Court today granted an extension of 24 hours until mid morning on Monday.
Yesterday two men, both aged 18, were bailed from Swindon police station and are due to return on a date in late July pending further enquiries.
The murder happened at around 1.30am on the morning of Wednesday, June 6 when police were called to reports of an assault in Barnum Court, Rodbourne.
The 44-year-old victim, of East Street, was found by police, lying in the street suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to Great Western Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2.20am.
