THEY may not have won the TV talent show, but Twist & Pulse Dance Company showed Cricklade they had talent when they performed at Cricklade Town Festival.

The dance act, who made it through to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent this year, were put forward for the festival after the original Twist & Pulse has to cancel due to prior commitments.

The dance company showed they had all the right moves as they took to the stage to wow the crowds.

The chairman of the Cricklade Festival, Nigel Wynne, said: “We always try to have something for everybody because it is a family event.

“We couldn’t have hoped for a better act for this year’s festival.

“We’re so pleased that Twist & Pulse, their management and everyone involved was able to work together to help the festival to be a continued success.”

Hundreds of people gathered in the High Street and on the field to enjoy the entertainment and refreshments.

Twist & Pulse Dance Company performed at about 12.30pm.

As well as the dance act, there were also performances from The Cricklade Band, Minety Dancers, Moses The Magician, Strictly Dumb Prancing and The Mighty Jukes yesterday.

The show opened with the grand parade, and families also enjoyed the Tallulah Swirls Puppet Show on the field during the day.

There were also stalls filled with goodies and refreshments and a £50 prize was given to the best dressed themed stall.
