Get cultured with app – and win an iPad at Swindon launch

A CULTURAL passport app is being launched in Swindon.
The app will allow users to go to arts events and gain points and become a different cultural character at each of the app’s five levels.
When you reach the top level, you're automatically entered inthe free prize draw to win an iPad.
The app was commissioned by Swindon’s Create Studios and developed by Evil Twin Artworks and is being supported by Swindon Dance.
The idea is to encourage people to attend events, enable the tracking of attendance and provide access to special offers.
A Create Studios spokesperson said: “This is the way it works at Swindon Dance ... When you come to a performance or take part in a workshop, you use your phone with the app installed to swipe a QR code.
“This adds points to your tally — double points if you’re there as part of getting your Arts Award.
The app will be available soon for download from the App Store and Google Play.
