Find out about Swindon health services at Trust meetings
9:36am Tuesday 28th August 2012 in News
LOCAL people are invited to catch up on the latest developments of Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust at two Annual Members’ Meetings taking place in September.
The meetings are being held at the Academy based at the GWH at 6pm on September 3 and at Calne Town Hall, at 6pm, on September 10.
This is a chance for members of the public to hear first hand what the Trust has achieved over the last year, about improvements to patient services and how the Trust has performed against national targets.
Attendees will also be among the first to learn the Trust’s plans for the year ahead and have an opportunity to put their questions to members of the Trust Board.
Alongside running the GWH in Swindon, the Trust is responsible for a whole range of community healthcare and maternity services across Wiltshire and parts of Bath and North East Somerset, as well as maternity services at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
Bruce Laurie, chairman of GWH NHS Foundation Trust, said: “If you are interested in your local health services and the work of the Trust, then come along and find out more about what we are doing and ask any questions you may have.
“As a Foundation Trust we have a membership scheme so we can be sure our services meet the healthcare needs of the local population.”
For more information and to book your place, contact the Membership Office on 01793 604185 or email email@example.com detailing any special requirements.
