Currying favour with Swindon’s carers

THE ANNUAL Indian Dinner & Auction, which is a major fundraiser for Swindon Carers Centre, will take place on September 17.

There will be Indian cuisine with fine wines, an authentic Indian dance show, an auction and a raffle to support the work Swindon Carers Centre provides within the community.

Tickets are £15 each or a block of six tickets for the price of five.

Only a limited number of tickets are available for the event, which takes place at Biplop in Wood Street.

A spokesperson for the centre said: “It is our continuing goal to assist each and every individual with caring responsibilities in Swindon.

“By holding such events as our Indian Dinner & Auction, we’ll raise much needed funds to ensure our team of staff and volunteers can continue their great work which has been proven successful over the past 15 years.”
