Hundreds in gear for Wiltshire charity ride

MORE than 700 riders are expected to participate in the British Heart Foundation’s Wiltshire Bike Ride, on Sunday.
The event offers a choice of a 28 or 47-mile circular route and is suitable for both families and cycling enthusiasts. The charity is hoping raise over £29,000 to help the BHF save lives locally.
On-day registration and entertainment will be from 8am, with the bike ride starting at 9am from Seend Lye recreation ground.
Jemma Curran, BHF Event Organiser, said: “Registering for the Wiltshire Bike Ride is easy so I’m urging people who enjoy cycling and want to get fit to sign up today, and help save lives across Wiltshire.”
To enter the Wiltshire Bike Ride, please visit www.bhf.org.uk/wiltshire or call 0845 130 8663. Registration is £15 for adults and £7.50 for under 16s – who must be accompanied by an adult. Registration on the day will be a higher fee.
