A STAR of one of our most fondly-remembered sitcoms is to visit Swindon’s Arts Centre and share stories of a career spanning more than 50 years.
Josephine Tewson is best known for playing Elizabeth, the nervous and put-upon neighbour of Hyacinth Bucket in Keeping Up Appearances, which ran for five successful series from 1990. She also played the character of Miss Davenport in another Roy Clark sitcom, Last of the Summer Wine.
She will be at the Arts Centre’s FoSAC Studio on Sunday from 6pm. Tickets cost £12 from 01793 614837.
