A TEENAGER who is to face trial by jury accused of burgling a house has been remanded in custody.

Paul Curtis is said to have made off with three laptop computers, a games console and a handbag and its contents during the alleged raid.

The 18-year-old, of Welcombe Avenue, denied a charge of burglary at Swindon Crown Court. It is alleged he took the items from the property in Beaufort Green, Park South, on Friday July 27.

Judge Euan Ambrose adjourned the case to November 7, when he is to face trial, and remanded him in custody.
