I was crowned Miss Swindon 2008 on 23rd March and will be taking part in the Semi-finals of Miss England in June. During this time I hope to do as much promotional work and advertising for any local charities and businesses as possible and would also be interested in attending any events going on around the town.

I am very proud to be representing Swindon in the Semi-finals of Miss England and will use this opportunity well to help raise the profile of the town, but more importantly I have a stage on which to raise as much money as I can for charities and local businesses, and raise awareness for people less fortunate than us. I hope to meet people from all walks of life, and make new friends wherever I can.

I aspire to be a good role model for younger girls and encourage them to fulfil their dreams and have the confidence to do so.

The charities I will be helping include a local hospice in SWINDON, called the PROSPECT HOSPICE. This particular hospice is where two of my grandparents spent their last days, both suffering with cancer. My grandmother had a brain tumour and my grandfather had cancer of the bladder. My Father has been treated for testicular cancer, and my Mother had had a small skin cancer removed. So therefore another charity I will do my best for is CANCER RESEARCH.

Id like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who voted for me to actually reach this stage, and I hope to do you all proud at the Miss England Semi Finals. Thank you all for your kind support.

I work full time for a medical legal company in West Swindon , my duties include working with GP and Specialist doctors to help produce medical reports for accident claims., and assisting the finance manager. I am currently studying Accounts at New College, which will add to my 3 A levels, and 10 GCSE’s.

My hobbies include keeping fit, I go to the gym everyday and love running and boxing. I am a member of Cannons Health Spa and The Boxing Academy in Swindon. I am also a blood donor and a qualified First Aider. I take a keen interest in health and nutrition.

One of my talents is portrait drawing, sketching and painting. Many of which are gifts to friends and relatives.

I love travelling and have visited many countries, my favourite was Italy, especially Venice. I have also been to France, Spain, Germany, Cyprus, Greece, Canary Islands, Malta and Mexico.

Back in sunny England though, my favourite place to visit is St. Ives in Cornwall
