The Board of Thames Valley Chamber is pleased to welcome Paul Britton as the new Chief Executive.

Ian Smith, Group President, Thames Valley Chamber said: “Paul has been with the Chamber for five years as Head of Inward Investment and is very well known within the Thames Valley. Paul is a Brunel graduate in Business Management with 15 years of experience in economic development and place marketing. Previous to joining the Chamber Paul spent eight years with the Thames Valley Economic Partnership managing inward investment for the region, culminating in the FT Publication fDi Magazine’s European Cities & Regions of the Future report recognising the role of local inward investment support in securing the Thames Valley as one of the highest ranked small regions in Europe. Paul has worked over the past five years with major corporates and experienced professional service providers to promote the thamesvalley.co.uk web portal. The award winning website offers unique insights into the commercial advantages of establishing international operations in the Thames Valley.

Paul worked closely with UK Trade & Investment and key public and private sector stakeholders to oversee inward investment and promotion on behalf of the Chamber and, in partnership with Microsoft, established the Thames Valley’s International Technology Conference as an annual flagship event in the region’s calendar.
