COMPLETE IT, a Swindon managed services provider has been recognised as international firm Datto’s European partner of the year for 2015.

Sales of Datto’s data protection products have spearheaded growth for CIT, which is located in Shrivenham Hundred Business Park, and has recently opened new premises in London and Bristol, bringing its UK presence to six offices in total.

Datto was founded in 2007 and provides business continuity solutions to more than five million customers and thousands of partners worldwide.

It is a provider of data backup, recovery and business continuity systems, and celebrated Complete ITs strong sales performance at its annual conference, by awarding it with 2015 Partner Of The Year.

Datto managing director Andrew Stuart said: “We are delighted to reward Complete IT for its sales success as one of our select number of Elite Partners globally.

"Complete IT’s local offices, in-depth expertise and market knowledge have been instrumental in their success to date, and we’re looking forward to strong and sustained growth together.”

CIT’s managing director Colin Blumenthal said: “We are expanding to be more local to our clients and have discovered businesses are eager to ensure their data is safe and can be recovered in the event of a disaster, whether man-made or natural.

"Losing important company information can lead to significant financial losses if a business can’t get up and running again quickly.”

“Our customers want flexible options, including back-up ‘in the cloud’ and not just on in-house equipment, and that’s what our partnership with Datto offers.”

CIT marketing manager Jessica Symondson said: "Alarmingly, 60 per cent of SMEs that lose sensitive data will shut within six months."

Blumenthal, who has also recently been appointed as chair to Datto’s partner advisory board, explains why Complete I.T. chose Datto’s technology for its customers. “We wanted to provide SMEs with a technology that is simple to install and manage, and would provide total data protection both locally and in the cloud.

“We have created several targeted campaigns designed to educate clients and prospects about the potential loss of data and how that can affect their business. so we also ensure that our helpdesk and sales teams are up to speed with all the latest developments and are passionate about the solutions.”
