SWINDON recruitment company C4S Search is celebrating its fifth anniversary.

The firm was begun in 2012 by two young local entrepreneurs, one of which Ryan O’Hara is now a director of the firm.

Since then C4S Search has gone from strength to strength, from humble beginnings setting up in a garage, through two office moves, C4S now has its head office in Delta 100, providing IT, digital and engineering recruitment services to a national client base.

Having been successful from the outset, the company has doubled in size in the past 12 months and is looking to do the same again in 2018.

To support this, the company has had a huge focus on local recruitment throughout 2016 and 2017, taking on more than 10 new members of permanent staff.

With a current headcount of 18 employees, the company has anticipated growth towards 36 people by the end of 2018 – including its first formal graduate and college leaver scheme which involves a formal 12-week training programme called Legacy, offering a blending learning experience with a mix of classroom training, tests, role play and on the job development.

C4S Search will be taking applications from January 2018 with the hope of hiring half a dozen college leavers and graduates from local universities and colleges.

Ryan said: “The key to our success has been hiring great people, investing in training and development, and focussing on ‘growing great’ rather than just growing big.

"Where some use size as a differentiator, we have concentrated on delivery first. We seem to be winning. We’ve built some outstanding relationships with a range of organisations from small start-ups to global leaders, helping them to source niche technical staff in what is a very competitive market.”
