AUTOMOTIVE learning and development agency RTS Group has been named among the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to work for 2018.

The Wiltshire-based firm has entered the prestigious list for the first time.

At the same time, the company has achieved the maximum Best Companies 3 Stars accreditation, one more than its two stars status of the previous two years, when it first applied for the scheme.

This competitive list spotlights the 100 companies in the ‘small’ category with the highest Best Companies Index scores. To join the list, organisations must employ at least 50 full-time employees and achieve one of the 100 highest BCI scores in the category.

“We are absolutely delighted, first to have achieved the 3 Stars accreditation for the first time and also to have made it into the top 100,” said Malcolm Miller, MD of RTS Group. “The results show we have a really great level of engagement among our fantastic team. We are in the business of developing people for the automotive sector, so it is a great endorsement that we are clearly doing a good job with our own team. This places RTS Group among the highest, based on being a great place to work along with some wonderful clients and a clear understanding of our mission.”

RTS Group, near Chippenham, was founded in 1989, and works with automotive manufacturers and vehicle retailers to develop dealership staff. It also runs events for the automotive sector, including product launches. Its finance arm – FIMTRAC – focuses on trade cycle management, and helping dealerships increase the uptake of vehicle finance among customers.

The company has more than 50 staff, over 200 associates, and trades extensively overseas, in the Middle East, South Africa, China and Europe, as well as the UK.
