A PICTURE of an urban fox caught unawares in a West Swindon garden has been chosen as our Swindon Camera Club picture of the month for March.
The photographer, Helen Sly, 51, who works as a cleaner, wins £50 of Love To Shops vouchers for her stunning image, taken from her living room window.
"I saw something moving outside and couldn't work out what it was at first," she said. "Once we realised it was a fox, I grabbed my camera quickly and managed to get a few shots before it woke up and realised what was going on and ran away."
Photography has been Helen's hobby for the past seven years, since she was impressed by some insect photos on display at Cricklade Show. Wildlife photography is her particular passion and she is also a members of the Wild Wiltshire Facebook group.
"I go out to take pictures as often as I can, I just love it," she said. "I expect the vouchers will go into the pot towards something I buy for the camera."
If you would like to be in with a chance of winning £50 of Love to Shop vouchers, you first need to
register for the Camera Club by emailing ian.parker@wiltshire.newsquest.co.uk. Don’t forget to send your name, location, and a daytime phone number.
