Police are appealing for information after a Devizes man was knocked unconscious in an attack outside the Azuza Nightclub in Marlborough.
There was a disorder inside the club involving a group of men and women shortly before 2am on Sunday, October 12.
A short time later a 30-year-old man from Devizes was assaulted outside the club, being knocked unconscious.
Paramedics attended and he was taken to hospital suffering with a dislocated shoulder and a bleed on his brain.
Although discharged from hospital he is still receiving treatment for his injuries.
A 27-year-old man from Tidworth was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He was subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries.
DC Mark Tylee said: ‘This was a serious incident which left the victim with significant injuries. I would like to appeal for anyone who saw the attack outside of Azuza to contact us.
"We have spoken to a number of people but know that there were further witnesses who have yet to come forward and they may have important information to assist with the investigation."
