Two men have been arrested following the fatal road traffic collision in Melksham, in which 19-year-old Max Lewis was killed.
An 18-year-old man and a 25-year-old man - both from Melksham - were arrested this morning on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Both men remain in police custody in Melksham.
Max, of Baldham, Seend. died in the collision shortly before 3pm on Saturday on Forest Lane when a red Citroen Saxo he was travelling in collided with a white Renault Master van.
The driver of the Saxo - 22-year-old Dan Palmer of Bowmans Court, Melksham - was taken by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital. His condition is now described as stable.
Sergeant Barrie Card said: "Following a fantastic response from the public, we have now arrested two men on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
"I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank the local community for the information they have provided to Wiltshire Police since Saturday's tragic road traffic collision.
"We will now continue to focus our attention on this investigation."
