A REFRAIN from Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life will ring out from St John the Baptist Church, Pewsey, on Monday at the funeral of Trevor Ward-Davies.
The service for Mr Ward-Davies – best known as Dozy from sixties pop group Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich – will start at noon and be followed by a wake at Woodborough Social Centre.
His widow, Yvonne, said: “Everyone will be welcome. Tich is organising the funeral and he has told me it is going to be huge.
“People are coming from Canada, France, Florida, Germany and Spain.
“I had wanted it in Charlton St Peter, where we got married, but I realised the church wasn’t going to be big enough.
“When we got married, the whole street was blocked.”
Dozy’s favourite song, Zabadak!, a hit for the band in 1967, featured in the Boxing Day episode of Top of the Pops and will also be part of the service, which will be attended by the three surviving band members Beaky, Mick and Tich.
A private cremation will take place in Salisbury later.
