No major traffic problems to report in Swindon as we enter the evening rush hour. There has been a two-car collision in Winterbourne Bassett between Swindon and Avebury, causing a partial obstruction and some delays. Full traffic updates here

The bull on the loose between Calne and Lyneham this morning was in fact a cow, say Wiltshire Police.

And the animal has since been destroyed by trained officers after becoming highly destressed and placing members of the public at significant risk of danger.

Police are currently attending a report of a bull loose on the main Calne to Lyneham road. Members of the public are being told not to approach. The incident is on the A3102.




TRAVEL: No problems reported on the roads in Swindon this morning. However, flooding is still causing issues in Broad Town, Winterbourne Monkton and Aldbourne so take extra care.
