Day three of the Nile Ranger trial continues. Gary Langham, night porter at the Carlton Hotel, scene of the alleged rape, has been in the witness box. He described Ranger as "his normal footballer arrogant cocky self." He added: "Nile is usually arrogant and lairy. I told him I was not in the mood for hassle." Day two round-up here.

Fresh from the news Massimo Luongo has been called up by Australia, there is more international news coming out of Swindon Town with the call-up of Yaser Kasim to the Iraq squad for their game with China next Wednesday.

Latest from day three of the rape trial of Swindon Town striker Nile Ranger. The alleged victim broke down in tears when the defence barrister suggested she was ‘enthusiastically participating’ in sex with Ranger and was not acting like someone who had been raped. She later stormed out of the videolink room in court. Yesterday's round-up here.

More on that car fire in Drake's Way - one very unhappy BMW driver has seen his One Series go up in smoke.
Firefighters were called at 8.10am and had put the fire out by 8.30am.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: "One crew from Stratton attended and put the fire out using a hose reel jet. They used hydraulic equipment to get under the bonnet and make sure it was out completely.
"The vehicle and owner were awaiting recovery."
