Tesco in the town centre has now reopened following this afternoon's incident.

Tesco in the town centre reportedly closed for a short time following an accident earlier this afternoon in which a two-year-old boy lost part of his finger. Pain relief was administered at the scene and he was taken to Bristol's Frenchay Hospital. More details to follow.

Police have left the scene of a motorcyclist involved in a collision near Torun Way, Hayden End at just after 2pm. The man had fallen from his bike and complained of rib injuries but a police spokesman said he did not require urgent medical attention.
