Great Western Hospital have confirmed there have been four cases of swine flu recently, which has been treated with a standard vaccination. More details here


Problems are currently being reported on the trains between Swindon and Bristol Temple Meads due to signalling problems between Swindon and Chippenham. 

The line towards Bristol Temple Meads is blocked. Trains will be diverted via Bristol Parkway, which will cause some delays. First Great Western do not currently have an estimate for when normal service will resume.

The funeral of nine-year-old Caitlin Hunt, who was killed when she was knocked down by a bus in Moredon, is taking place at St Mary's Church in Rodbourne Cheney.


All lanes are now open and traffic returned to normal on the A419 southbound following recovery work for the two vehicles involved in the earlier accident.


Robert Buckland MP will officially open the new Waitrose store at 8am on Thursday, April 10. That's next week, posh food fans! Story here.

There is slow traffic on the A419 southbound between Marlborough Road and M4 junction 15 due to an earlier accident on the flyover involving two vehicles.

There is congestion to the A4312 Oxford Road (White Hart Roundabout). See more details here.
