A teenager who is accused of robbing a man of his mobile phone is to face trial by judge and jury.

Jake Skilton pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared before a judge at Swindon Crown Court.

The 19-year-old, of Queens Drive, is said to have carried out the mugging on December 14 last year. 

The case was adjourned until July 29 and he was released on conditional bail to live at home, observe a curfew and not contact the complainant.

Lechlade Cricket Club have finally filled their overseas player berth with the signing of South Africa Under 19 international Bradley Dial.

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of road rage which involved a white van and three pedestrians which took place on Wootton Bassett Road.
The incident occurred outside The Runner pub at approximately 4pm on Sunday. Anyone with any information about the incident should call non-emergency number 101.

Wiltshire Police are appealing for the public's help in locating a missing man from Calne.

Richard Forty, 24, was last seen yesterday at approximately 10am at St Mary's School in Calne.

Richard is described as white, medium height, with a slim build with blonde hair and some facial hair.

At this stage, it is not known what Richard was last seen wearing.

Anyone who may have information as to Richard's whereabouts should contact Wiltshire Police immediately on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
