A two vehicle crash at the junction of Thames Avenue and Whitworth Road this morning has now been cleared. The crash involved a Mini and a VW Golf. One woman was taken to hospital as a precaution and one driver was reported for careless driving.

The four males arrested following the 15 man brawl at the bottom of Victoria Hill at the weekend have been released on police bail pending further enquiries

The victim has been moved to GWH with serious facial and leg injuries, but these are not life threatening injuries. These are facial and leg injuries.

Neil Pailor, 33, also  punched his ex and her friend.
