The motorcyclist who died following a road traffic collision with a bus in Devizes last week has been formally identified as Charlie Sherman, 22, of Hillier Road, Devizes. He died as a result of his injuries following the collision on Prison Bridge (A361) shortly before 7.40am on Thursday. 



Swindon Advertiser: Murder victim identified as Aulton 'Tom' Rogers

The funeral of Tom Rogers, who was murdered in the underpass near the Oasis last month, took place today. More to follow.


Wiltshire Police are still appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on Saturday in Marston Meysey. A six year old girl who was travelling in a blue Land Rover Discovery died after colliding with a hedge at 1pm.  Call 101 with information.

Sustrans and Swindon Travel Choices are marking the end of ‘Tour de Swindon’ , with a free family fun day at Coate Water Park on July 27 from 11am to 2pm.


Normal service has now resumed on the trains between Swindon and Bristol Temple Meads.
