Swindon Advertiser: Inferno at Averies Recycling Plant

Dr Mark Evans, from Avon, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire PHE Centre and Dr Ayoola Oyinloye from Swindon Council Public Health Team are warning residents in areas affected by the smoke from Averies fire to remain indoors with doors and windows closed.

The assault in the Town Gardens is believed to be a knife attack. A man has been taken to hospital, but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening. A small section of the park has been closed near the ice cream pavilion.
