Rail passengers in Swindon are facing delays this afternoon after a person was hit by a train between London Paddington and Slough. Delays are expected to last until 6.45pm.

All lines between Paddington and Reading have been stopped since 3.40pm.

The sentencing of Luke O'Brien, who was due at Swindon Crown Court this morning, charged with four robberies in five days, has been adjourned until September 2.
