Swindon Museum Of Computing will host three days of spine-chilling events in the run-up to Halloween.

Today, tomorrow and next Friday there will be a Halloween papercraft art session, and the chance to play classic festive video games on original retro games consoles.

Thursday will also be a one-day chance to write your own Halloween-themed games in the scary game programming workshop. All activities are free but standard museum admission charges apply.

The art days follow the popularity of the summer Minecraft Papercraft event, in which young people gained the chance to reproduce their favourite computer characters from hit game Minecraft.

On all three days there will be the chance to have seasonal-themed fun and for children to make Halloween models and decorations out of paper.

The museum is open for the papercraft days for its standard hours of 10am to 4pm on Friday and 9.30am to 5pm on Saturday.

Visitors will also get the chance to play The Nightmare Before Christmas computer game, as well as Necronomicon.

Booking in advance is required to take part in the programming session.
