A 31-year-old Swindon man has been arrested after an alleged incident of dangerous driving in which a car was repeatedly rammed.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident just after 7.10pm last night on the A419 near Blunsdon.
A red BMW deliberately blocked a blue Vauxhall Astra at a set of traffic lights near the bridge over the A419, before driving into the vehicle on two occasions around the village of Blunsdon.
The BMW was then driven dangerously along the A419 towards the A420 slip road, hitting the Astra several times.
Nobody was hurt during the incident.
The man who was arrested remains in police custody.
Anyone with information on the incident should call police on 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if preferred.
