PRESTON North End remain the warm favourites for tomorrow’s tie with the bookmakers, but Town supporters may want to take advantage of some of the generous odds that are being offered.

Bet 365 is offering 14/1 on a Swindon victory in extra time and 12/1 on penalties, with 5/4 on the Robins lifting the trophy.

Steve Freeth, of Bet 365, said: “Preston are currently the warmest favourites of all three play-off finals.

“Punters will need little encouragement with the twin-goal threat of (Joe) Garner and (Jermaine) Beckford coupled with the Swindon defending in the second leg against Sheffield United.

“However, Mark Cooper and his team have beaten the odds already this season, making a mockery of our pre-season quote of 5/1 for relegation.

“Simon Grayson may have a good record of getting sides out of League One, but Preston’s play-off failures have been well documented and if Swindon are able to implement their impressive passing game on the big Wembley pitch then they could be set for yet more heartache.”

For both teams to score, 5/6 is being offered whilst Andy Williams is Town’s shortest price for first goalscorer at 13/2.

For a repeat of April’s encounter at Deepdale, with a Preston 3-0 win, Bet 365 offers you 18/1.
