A bright, breezy and dry day is expected in Swindon today, before rain returns to the town tomorrow,
Temperatures could hit a maximum of 19 degrees with light drizzle and cloudy spells throughout the day. Met Office forecasters predict sunny spells will break through the showers by the afternoon.
This evening, persistent and heavy rain is expected with temperatures dropping to 13 degrees ahead of heavy rain and blustery winds going into Wednesday.
On the roads things are running smoothly. Drivers are warned there is minor congestion at the A36 Wilton Road near St Paul's roundabout
