POLICE are appealing for information following two burglaries in Penhill which took place overnight between Monday and Tuesday morning.
Between 11pm on August 31 and 6am the following morning, a house in Ramsbury Avenue was broken into, and cash, mobile phones and a bottle of beer was stolen.
At approximately 3am this morning, a second house in the street was also broken into.
A phone and tobacco was taken during the incident. Three males were spotted in the garden of the house by a neighbour who chased them down the street.
One of the males is described as white, aged between 20 and 30 years old, approximately 6ft tall with light brown hair. He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a navy blue jacket.
Anyone who saw anybody acting suspiciously in the area overnight should contact PC Julieann Rathbone on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
