KEEN photographer Zak Stratton-Taylor is a student at Kingsdown School and will be sitting his GCSEs this summer.
The 15-year-old says he hopes to be a professional photographer one day.
“I’ve been doing photography for a while now, it’s a very big hobby of mine,” he said.
“It’s very interesting because you find yourself exploring on foot a lot — it’s surprisingly good for you as I walk everywhere to take pictures!
“It opens your eyes more and you end up seeing things you wouldn’t usually notice if you were walking along on your phone or in a car.
“I love the fact every photograph has a memory attached to it. I’ve also made new friends doing photography and helped teach others and also learned from others.
“It also doesn’t need to be expensive, so I highly recommend giving it a try.”
Here Zak tells us about a selection of pictures he sent in to the Adver. If you would like to see more, check him out on Instagram — @zakstratton.
